Soles for the Harvest...Past and Present
The Soles for the Harvest 5K Run/Walk began in 2012 as a joint venture of St. James and St. Matthias Episcopal Churches. The 2014 consolidation of these parishes into Holy Apostles, Yardville created a corps of dedicated volunteers that sustained this annual event through 2015.
During those four years, proceeds from more than 100 runners, walkers, and co-sponsors per year raised more than $41,000 to benefit a variety of charitable and social justice programs.
Now a Diocesan Jubilee Office event, The DJO All-Volunteer Staff would like to thank Fr. Art Powell, Kristine Byrnes, and the many volunteers for the opportunity to continue this tradition of service in Christ, for our brothers and sisters throughout the diocese.
